Relations Supervisor - Spa, Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa
Position Overview:
Responsible for the recruitment, screening, referral and retention of all spa staffing
positions. Develops and monitors recruitment strategies. Serve as
the Human Resources liaison for The Spa. Duties include: preparation of
bi-weekly payroll, storage and upkeep of Spa employee records, recruiting
potential applicants, preliminary interviewing, and training Spa employees;
communicating a variety of information to Spa staff, updating and implementing
the Hazard Communication program for the Spa, enforcing the Spa attendance
policy, enforcing safety within the Spa, assisting with the preparation of Spa
employee reviews, conveying the Spa’s policies and procedures through the Spa’s
new employee introductory class: Spa 101, and performing additional administrative
and supervisory duties as needed; and performing additional administrative
duties as needed.
Education
and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four- year college or university or
required. Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience. Prior spa and sales experience
preferred.

Qualifications:
Must be bright and personable and have the ability to get along with others. Should
be highly service oriented, well organized, attentive to detail and able to
work with minimal supervision. Must have excellent computer skills and be
proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Must possess the ability

Position Overview: Coordinates
activities of Benefits Supervisor in ongoing Human Resources objectives and goals.
Assists in conducting and instructing New Employee Welcome Seminar (N.E.W.S.).
Works closely with Recruiting Specialist, and department managers in
coordinating new hire prerequisites. Responsible for overseeing on-boarding process
for new hires. Assists Benefits Supervisor with administrative duties,
filing, and data entry. Is responsible for enhancing and promoting the
effectiveness of the Benefits functions. Responsible for appropriately
handling confidential information. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general
education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous
public speaking experience and/or classroom training is preferred but not
required.
Other Qualifications: Able to operate computer,
telephone, adding machine, copier, and fax machine. Must type 30 wpm and be
able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Power Point). Must
have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Previous
